Corsham Court
Stories of the trees in the gardens of Corsham Court, told by Henbedr-y-Coed, Old Peter of the Woods.
Histories of the trees, their families, their fruits and timbers, their ancient uses. Domestic ‘treen’ made out of the wood of each tree, and musical instruments.
Tunes are played and poems declaimed, in Persian, old Welsh and Japanese. You can make a wattle wall. Use a froe. Zoom in to the microhabitats of an oak tree.
A fusion of science and art.
