ONLINE: Drink and Draw: SCALE (via Zoom)
Thursday 28th January 8pm-9:15pm
Pay What You Can (£0/£3/£5/£10)
For the first D&D of the year we will be exploring scale. Making very large drawings, very small drawings, and zooming in and out of details. This informal drawing session will be led by Antonia who will guide us through different exercises. Come along and try something new and meet other people.
You will need:
Paper – a mixture of sizes and colours would be great, but use what you have. You can always tape together smaller sheets to create a large one.
Things to draw with – pens, pencils, ink, anything you already have! A mix of colours and thicknesses would be great.
Some objects to draw – a mix of shapes, colours and textures. You could have a theme or they could be completely random! Up to you!
Scissors – for making a viewfinder
Masking tape (if possible)
A cardboard box (if possible) – this will help us with our blind contour drawings! We have borrowed this idea from the amazing Good Ship Illustration – please do check them out.
This workshop is held via zoom. You will receive the link in your booking confirmation email. Please do check your junk folder. For any information, get in touch with Antonia on [email protected]
Drink and Draw will take place (via zoom) on the last Thursday of each month at 8pm. The workshop page was a 1-minute drawing created by Beth Quarmby during a session. Thanks Beth!
