People of The Pound: photography project by Ben Wulf
People of The Pound is a collaborative new project between Pound Arts and photographer Ben Wulf. Ben is a professional in headshot and portrait photography who has kindly offered to spend a day utilising his skills to capture photos of the many wonderful people who make The Pound a special place to be.
Are you a Pound Person? Then we want to hear from you! Customers, trustees, room hirers, staff members, resident artists, get in touch and book yourself in for a FREE photography session with Ben, after which you’ll take home your very own professional portrait.
Ben will be in residence at The Pound on Tuesday 12 July from 9.30am – 4pm. Portraits can be booked in 15 minute time slots, one time slot per booker.

People of The Pound …
The Pound Arts Centre. A performance venue for theatre, music, talks, dance and poetry. An art gallery. A Cinema. A space for learning and education. Somewhere to kick back, relax and grab a drink. A community hub for all things creative. It’s all these things and more.
So what interests me is who are the people of The Pound?
Who are the people coming to their gigs, workshops and festivals? Who runs their weekly classes? Who are the regulars at the café bar? Most importantly, what makes all of them so vital to this flourishing arts centre?
I shall be here, in the arts centre, for the day taking portraits of the people who support The Pound.
So, stop by if you have five minutes and have your support for your local arts centre immortalised on camera.
