The Pound Arts Open Exhibition returns to Corsham for its 16th consecutive year and we’re determined to make it our biggest and best open to date.
The Open is an exciting chance for both amateur and professional artists to have the work displayed in The Pound Arts Gallery. All artforms are considered for inclusion in this exhibition so prepare to be astonished by the incredible variety of exceptionally talented artists from across the region.
There will be a number of prizes awarded to successful artists, including ‘The People’s Prize’, decided by public vote, and The Pound Arts Prize which awards the winner with an opportunity to have their own solo exhibition at The Pound at a later date.
KEY DATES
Deadline for submissions – Friday 13 June, midnight
Notification of selected works – Friday 20 June
Delivery of selected works – Monday 21 July, 10am – 7pm
Exhibition opening event – Thursday 24 July, 6.30pm – 8pm
People’s Choice Winner Announcement – Tuesday 26 August
Collection of Artwork from The Pound – Tuesday 26 August, 10am – 6pm
