Pay What You Can: £0
FREE (Pay What You Can) | an online stream | 30 minutes | a digital & physical circus-theatre experience for 2-6 year olds and their families
You will receive an email during the week of the Magic & Mayhem Festival with a private link to take you to the streaming platform where you will be able to view Play-Along Plink & Boo from 10am on Friday 13 November.
The topsy turvy world of Plink and Boo uses acrobatics, music and mountains of toys, to create interactive filmed circus theatre adventure, exploring what happens when people don’t fit into boxes.
Play-Along Plink and Boo is a circus theatre performance made specifically for camera. Before watching the performance, we invite you to find or make some simple props (video) from around your house. Download the activity sheets here (PDF). During the show you will then use these to interact with the performance, playing along from the comfort of your own home.
Explore a world of colour, interactivity and adventure for you and your child, this is a beautiful way to spend quality and engaging time together.
Some might be Plink and others are Boo
Why does it matter, what’s the to-do?
Jumbled up people and boxes too small
Come play in our den and discover it all…
Streaming online here from 10am on Friday 13 November.
How to make your own play-along props. Before you watch the show:
Check out our prop making video, from designer Laura! This video is for grown ups, so that you can help your little people get the most out of their time watching our show. Once you’ve made these props we recommend keeping them as a surprise, but if you want to get your children involved in making, that’s fine too!
Before you watch the filmed performance of Play-Along Plink and Boo, we recommend getting ready by building a theatre den in your front room! In the video below, the youngest member of Can’t Sit Still, Thea (aged 5) shows you how to do just that. Don’t forget to send us a picture of you watching the show in your dens!
If you would like to show your children what to expect from the performance, ahead of watching Play-Along Plink and Boo, Can’t Sit Still Theatre has also produced some videos introducing the characters for children who may be unsure of what will happen. You can view the films on their website – here.
