Introducing … Curator’s Corner!

These small displays feature single works by forthcoming artists who will be exhibiting at The Pound in the near future. Curator’s Corner will be viewable alongside our current exhibitions. 

Joanna Hutchinson (5 May – 3 June)

Joanna is an artist, writer and amateur photographer based in North Wiltshire with a huge passion for ornithology and the natural world. She translates her close observations of birds into gorgeous artworks using oil paints, colours pencils, watercolours and paper crafting.

James Aldridge: Boat and Body (8 June – 5 July)

Explore some of the elements of James’s ‘Queer River‘ research project ahead of his Drawing on Water exhibition later in July. 

Dinah Hayward: Coriolis (8 June – 5 July) 

Coriolis is an immersive, durational, ambient  sound composition, which evokes the special vastness and movement of the ocean.
