The group of art psychotherapists trained together between 2014-2017 at Newport University, South Wales. This is their first shared exhibition in 5 years and marks a decade of working as art psychotherapists in diverse areas of practice. Internal worlds is an exhibition that explores their individual creative realities and joint interplay.

Creative Wellbeing Tools for working with Children

Ella Bryant and Alex Burr are HCPC registered art psychotherapists, full members of the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT) and co-founders of The Portable Wellbeing Studio (theportablewellbeingstudio.com).
Ella and Alex will offer two workshops for adults who work with children and young people focused on Art Therapy informed wellbeing tools. The two-hour sessions will explore practical, creative wellbeing tools for working with children and offer time to reflect on your own wellbeing whilst learning creative practices like collage and printing.

Art psychotherapist Sarah Challenger invites you to explore your identity and life roles through found objects and shadow play. In this workshop, create a mixed media art piece representing and illuminating the various aspects of your life that shape who you are.
Please bring a meaningful object from home to incorporate into your artwork. Additional objects and art materials will be provided.
