Hugh Pascall Quintet

Acclaimed trumpeter Hugh Pascalland his quintet present brand-new music alongside selections from his two albums as bandleader. Described as “An outstanding soloist” with “the most beautiful, elegant and melodic delivery” by London Jazz News, his unique, lyrical, exciting approach to postbop jazz is of “remarkable fluency and assurance” (- The Jazzmann). 

Touring extensively over the last two years, this quintet with a classic front line of trumpet and tenor – featuring renowned saxophonist James Allsopp – are star musicians of the UK jazz scene. Melodic, swinging and modal explorations are complimented by atmospheric, captivating ballads. 

Quintet Line-up: 

  • Hugh Pascall – Trumpet and Flugelhorn 
  • James Allsopp – Tenor Saxophone 
  • Liam Dunachie – Piano 
  • Oli Hayhurst – Bass 
  • Jay Davis – Drums
