Born in London in 2001, in 2016 George was a top prize-winner at the Grand Piano Competition in Moscow. He went on to become youngest student ever to take up a scholarship at the Royal College of Music. In 2019 George was the only British pianist selected for the Tchaikovsky Competition.
As a soloist he has appeared with the Moscow State, Mariinsky, Tatarstan National, Sochi Symphony and Tyumen Philharmonic Orchestras, the Orchestra Sinfónica Provincial de Santa Fe (Argentina), Carolina Philharmonic and New Millennium Orchestra of Chicago. He has performed alongside Denis Matsuev and Lang Lang and worked with renowned conductors Valery Gergiev, Alexander Sladkovsky, Walter Hilgers and Anton Lubchenko.
Concert highlights include the Scherzo series in Madrid, the Royal Albert Hall, Berlin Philharmonie Kammermusiksaal and the Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall in Japan. In 2018 he was shortlisted for an award in the Sound of Classical Poll at the Classic BRIT Awards in London.
