Wiltshire favourite ‘folk pixie’ Tamsin Quin offers upbeat witty songwriting with infectious charm by the spoonful. Playing with her old Gibson guitar; Tamsin delivers unique and charismatic Folk/Americana vibes with a twist of intriguing and whimsical storytelling; her live performance will leave you mesmerised.
Tamsin has always been one to connect closely with her audience. This is part of what makes her live shows so special and has resulted in a great local following, playing many gigs in Wiltshire and further afield. Already having some big support slots under her belt including The Strawbs, Beans On Toast, Beth Orton and She Makes War, it’s no doubt this lady is on her way to greater things.
Usually playing solo, Tamsin brings a rare duo show to the Pound Arts Centre on October 25th and will be joined by fellow musician Jamie R Hawkins, offering percussion and beautiful harmonies by the bucketload.
‘This lady is great; it is as simple as that.’ Dave Franklin, Swindonian.
‘Tamsin wows, simple. She has an ease, an intimacy about her stage presence and when performing she’s in her comfort-zone, making it a pleasure to listen to.’ Darren Worrow, Index Wiltshire
‘Her song craft and performance is enough to make others raise their game.’ Keiran Moore, Sheer Music
