An Introduction to Oil Paints

Whole Course: £40

Friday 7 & 14 November, 11am – 1pm

Over this 2-day, guided course, resident artist Laura Richards will introduce you to the wonderful world of oils. You will create your colour swatch, get to grips with using oil sticks and learn layering techniques.

In week 1, you will explore glazed layers on paper which will inform week 2, where you will paint your canvas ready to take home.

Suitable for beginners and those with some experience of oils, or those who have done this course before. All materials provided. Oils can be messy so please wear suitable clothing.
