Felting Fun for Families

Child: £5

Come and join felting expert, Magda, to create your own felted picture which can be turned into a card, a brooch or even a backpack decoration. Magda will show you how to create a picture using needle felting techniques.

Wool needle felting involves applying layers of wool to fabric and felting it by simply stabbing the wool through the fabric with a prickly needle. This technique allows you to mix colours and lay out your design before starting the felting process, with the option to add more layers to adjust colours or add dimensions.

You’ll also have the chance to elevate your design with decorations like beads and feathers, with guidance from supervising adults. A creative and enjoyable workshop that will bring out the artist in everyone!

All ages welcome but under 7’s accompanied by an adult please.

Workshop runs from 10am – 11:30am.
