Richard Leigh Harris brings us a popular programme of piano pieces from the Baroque era through to the early 20th.century by Scarlatti, Beethoven, Chopin, Brahms, Paderewski & Gershwin/Grainger.
Richard Leigh Harris (b. Bristol, 1956) studied music at the Birmingham School of Music (Royal Birmingham Conservatoire) and at Reading University (M. Mus).
For nearly thirty years, Richard worked variously as a teacher, lecturer (Oxford Polytechnic [Brookes University], Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Oxford University Department of Continuing Education), pianist, harpsichordist, composer, critic and writer based in Oxford.
In 2008, Richard returned to the West Country and now lives in Keynsham.
He is also an author (The Days of Our Vanity,My Bermuda Books, The Scale of Midnight and Ellipsis, all Silver Wood Books, Bristol) and a qualified reflexologist.
