Introduction to Fabric Wrapping

Discover the art of fabric gift wrapping in this friendly, hands-on workshop with Eve Cale of Gift wrapped by Eve.

Inspired by the Japanese tradition of furoshiki, you'll learn a range of simple techniques for wrapping gifts using reusable fabric instead of single-use paper. Perfect for birthdays, Christmas and special occasions, fabric wrapping is a beautiful and sustainable way to make gifts feel extra special.

During the workshop you'll practise several wrapping styles, learn how to wrap different shapes, and explore ways to use fabric wraps again and again. No previous experience is needed, and all materials are provided. There will be the opportunity to shop for extra gift wrapping materials from Eve's pop-up shop at the end of the workshop.

You'll leave with new skills, plenty of inspiration, and the confidence to use thoughtful, eco-friendly gift wrapping at home.
