Join ceramic artist Sarah Glazier-Hart at The Pound for a cosy afternoon of festive creativity. As winter settles outside, spend a relaxing afternoon indoors crafting beautiful handmade ceramics to treasure for yourself or gift to someone special this Christmas.

Suitable for complete beginners and experienced makers alike, this welcoming workshop will guide you through the process of creating a collection of seasonal pieces by hand. With Sarah’s expert tuition, you’ll make a festive plate perfect for a mince pie or slice of Christmas cake, along with a bowl and spoon, ideal for serving brandy butter at your Christmas table.

Working with traditional hand-building techniques, you’ll be encouraged to explore your creativity and personalise your pieces with decorative details, making each one truly unique. Whether you’re discovering pottery for the first time or nurturing an existing passion, Sarah will provide a supportive and inspiring environment in which to create.

Please note: We will be working with stoneware clay. Finished pieces will be kept for glazing and firing and will be ready for collection approximately two weeks after the workshop.
