Bring The Pound to Your Living Room

We’re delighted to announce a new partnership with Live to your Living Room, a brilliant organisation that shares Pound Arts Trust’s belief in the power of community, connection and live performance.

This season, the partnership will enable us to live stream a gig from The Pound, helping more people experience the music they love wherever they are. For audience members who cannot always make it to The Pound, whether because of distance, access needs, caring responsibilities or other barriers, live streaming offers another way to be part of the atmosphere, energy and joy of a live event.

Live to your Living Room is known for creating high-quality online gigs that bring artists and audiences together in real time, with a strong focus on accessibility and belonging. We’re excited to work with them to explore how streamed performances can sit alongside the in-person experience we already have at The Pound, opening our programme to an even wider community.

Peter Knight’s Gigspanner Trio will be the first performance to be live streamed as part of this new partnership. The Trio are celebrated for their intimate, virtuosic performances, and we’re thrilled that audiences beyond our auditorium will have the opportunity to share in the experience.
