Become a Pledger for The Pound’s Big Give Challenge

After our hugely successful Big Give campaign last year, we’re excited to be taking part in this year’s Big Give Christmas Challenge, the UK’s biggest match‑funding campaign. As we prepare for this exciting opportunity, we’re inviting supporters to join us as Pledgers to help make this year’s campaign our most impactful yet.

Pledgers play a vital role in the success of the Big Give. By making an early financial pledge, you help create the matching fund that will double donations made during the campaign week. This match funding encourages others to give, knowing their contribution will have twice the impact.

A pledge is a promise made in advance, not an immediate donation. After the campaign ends, you will be asked to fulfil only the amount that has been matched by public donations, and payment is made directly to us. Pledges must be made using the official online pledge form. The minimum pledge is £100. Pledgers are also asked not to make online donations to The Pound during the campaign week. Our pledges need to be confirmed by the summer.

If pledging isn’t right for you this year, you can still make a huge difference by donating during the campaign window in December. Every donation made during the campaign week will be doubled from our pledge pot, meaning your gift will go twice as far in supporting our work and our community.
